A Curious Dish

Written for:  dVerse Poets Pub, Quadrille-5, Using The Word Melt

You cannot melt
my heart
with a tuna melt.
Dealt with hot
tuna fish, so I know
it should not
be heated. Cheese on top
does nothing for this flop
of a dish. No fish. I’ll have
grilled cheese
with tomato, if you please.
