Group Of Three

Written for:  Elizabeth’s Creativity Challenge – Day 18

Word for Today – Three

The third number in our numerical system. We have many tales and sayings about that number. “Three’s a crowd.” A circle of three must not be broken. The Three Musketeers. A thrice braided cord will not be easily broken (from Scripture). The Three Wise-men. The Three Little Pigs. I’m sure that each of you might come up with others. It would seem the number has a bit of magic associated with it. The task for today is to look around you, then express three things that energize you, or bring you down. Three things you love or hate to do, see, or hear about. Or three things that frighten you. The choice is up to you.

About purplepeninportland

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York. My goal is to create and share poetry with others who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve in you, and feel your sparks as well.

Really like your three choices. Mine would be very similar.
