Blue Spirit Rising

Written for: The Sunday Whirl, Wordle #298

Words:  born, stories, rings, snapped, ash, origins, radiates, spirits, limb, rain, cave, thin

She was a spirit born
to tell stories. Documentation
of her origins is incomplete.
She blue vapored out of
a cave one rainy day
in November. As spirits go,
she was a thin streak,
radiating into heads
of creative people. She
spoke of magic rings,
though wore no bling
herself. She told tales
of kings and queens,
striped frogs, and green
cats. A snap of her fingers
could bring anything
she wanted to appear.
Some say she rose
from ashes of a mocking
bird. Others claim she is
a myth. All those of wild
imagination have heard
her voice. She was a spirit
born to tell stories to those
who loved to listen.

“She was spirit born to tell stories” is such a fantastic beginning.
And “blue vapored” as verb. LOVE.
