Write a poem about a monster or monsters.
Those who lurk near schoolyards
hoping to lure
an innocent child
whose life will be forever changed
Those who are powerless to prove
their profile wrong
by raping vulnerable women
whose lives will be forever changed
Those who spew dangerous drivel, disavow
science, contradict their own words,
and bully all in name of country
whose citizens lives can be forever halted
Too many monsters out there……..well said, Sara.

Monsters indeed! There seems to be more of them, not less. Or is there more emphasis on the problem than there used to be.

Monsters are everywhere… and all are people like ourselves. They look like all of us,

Yes there are so many monsters among us who care little for their fellow humans with their words and actions. It is good to let off steam now and then.

So many monsters are all too real, living in broad daylight among us.
