desert travelers

Written for:  Carpe Diem #1270 desert travellers (Karunesh)
“This first episode of this weekend is a piece of music by Karunesh, maybe you can remember that back in 2013 I had a whole month of inspirational music for you with the music of Karunesh. Karunesh granted me permission to use his music for our celebration month and I am grateful for that. Thank you Karunesh that I may use your music to inspire my visitors, the haijin and travelers by, with your music.”

Here is my attempt:

seekers, wanderers
through desert sands, listening
hear distant drumbeats

About purplepeninportland

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York. My goal is to create and share poetry with others who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve in you, and feel your sparks as well.
