Chocolate Seduction

Written for:  Poets United Midweek Motif~Bittersweet
Write a brand new poem with a bittersweet mood and theme.

“Happiness. Simple as a glass of chocolate or tortuous as the heart.
Bitter. Sweet. Alive.”
― Joanne Harris, Chocolat

When speaking of chocolate
I have only letters of love
for the milky sweetness
of a Hershey’s kiss
to bliss of semi-sweet
chocolate chips, and onward,
if you dare, to rare blend
of bitter and sweet richness–
a decadent pull. I cannot speak
of chocolate right now;
my mouth is full.
