“Greetings, Poets! For those of us in the United States, today is the first day of Daylight Savings time, also known as Summer Time. I know different parts of the world do this differently, begin summer time later, or don’t change clocks at all. Anyway, I am hoping that spring is not far away. Smiles.” (posted by Mary)
So many calculations
when friends live in different places.
Friend in Oregon
must also begin
that Spring-ahead change,
but a friend out of range
in Arizona does not have to change time.
Whenever I phone her, math besets my mind.
