Are You Game?

Simple game of 500 rummy,
Sonny–you need a list of rules?
Stop rattling your fingers
on the table? Think you
will be able to break
my winning streak? Why
don’t you fasten your
attention on your hand.
Sit still. Who knows,
maybe you’ll beat me. See,
I’m a fair guy. And you,
Harry, stop playing with
that damn string on
the tablecloth. If it pulls
loose, and that giant pinky
ring seams that table,
it’s my ass.  Hey Sal, that light’s
bouncing off  the sheen on your head.
Aw, I’m just kidding.  Pass me
that bottle of Jim Beam.

I need a drink.

Rummy can do with some light moments to reduce the tensions. Thoughtful take Sara!
