on the moon,
give it a grateful
kiss as you spin by.
If you kiss
the moon,
it smiles crescent
at you.

My gadget will sell, you’ll see
Live on air, Ralph froze, stared. Gadget failed; Norton got dragged in.

Ah, yes Mr. Ralph – I think I remember watching that show at my grandparents home.
In later years I likened the character to my Dad – perhaps they (both men) just tried too hard?
