Free-Form Dancing

Be Free

“Be Free” by Magic Love Crow Image Source This photo was hand picked by lovely Magaly.

I free-form dance
to music in my
head. My people
are dying off. Crowned
in feathers, wrapped
in grasses, I laugh
for the lives we have
lived, hoping there is
a place for me
in the future.

About purplepeninportland

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York. My goal is to create and share poetry with others who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve in you, and feel your sparks as well.

Things change and usually not for the better. Best live for the moment and live in the now.

I love to free-form dance to music in my head, it’s so liberating!

  6. As long as there is mental-free-dancing, I think the future will hold a place. Lovely.
