Let us see what patterns of life surface from both the positive and / or negative sides of the televised news and also sometimes its purposeful silence on certain current affairs.
“Television news is like a lightning flash. It makes a loud noise, lights up everything around it, leaves everything else in darkness and then is suddenly gone.”— Hodding Carter
After the bloodshed,
violence of all things
imaginable, yellow
crime scene tape,
and political insults
via tweet, newscasters
try to sweeten the pot
with heartwarming stories
of children overcoming
odds. They want to leave
you with a good feeling.
Too late.
Yes, when the damage is already done there’s no use of ‘sweetening the pot’. We can only pray for lessening of all these violent happenings. Sigh.

All the time we are being manipulated as servants for the state or corporations. We have become a failed species who cannot fit in with the nature of this planet which we are likely to destroy with our mindlessness.
