Lion Afternoon by Jacek Yerka Photo Source
I have napped
comfortably
in shade
for quite a while.
In all that time,
do you think
any strawberries fell?
Well, they did not. Sun
is falling darker across
the wheat. They will come
back to eat, and I shall
have to make myself
scarce. Oh, I could
take ’em both
any time I wanted,
but we lions have
our pride. Perhaps
I can nap a tad longer.

The proud pun made me giggle. 😀
