self-serving, climbing ’til
your knuckles bleed
to grab that last dollar.
Power pours green though
pores of your skin, yet still
you sin, insidiously trying
to divide a country, spread hatred,
and distrust. Hitler desired
an Aryan nation, Mussolini
attempted a new Roman Empire–
fascist state. Revolutions
have happened in the past.

will be united with their parents,
truth will outwit lies. Statue
of Liberty will give you
the finger. So do not linger
too long. The light is changing;
beware of darkness.*
