Snow Acceleration

Written for:  Poetic Bloomings2 – Prompt #269 – Snowbound

“Today, I present you with a list of snow-related words. Choose one (or do a flurry of them) and write an Acrostic poem based on that (those) word(s).”

snowy – snowfall – snowflake – snowdrift – snowball – avalanche – snowstorm – snowboard – snow-white – snowbound – snowman – snowshoe – snowmobile – snow-blind – snowcap – snowblower – snow-melt – snow line – blizzard – ski slope – flurry

S oft flurries drifted.
N ot likely to change to a snowfall
O f blizzard proportions, according to
W ord of weather forecasters. Take that as suggestion at
B est. Sure enough snowy conditions snowballed
O ut of predictions into a full-blown snowstorm.
U nder the snowdrifts, snowblowers were
N ot sufficient to clear any paths.
D own it fell into snow-blindness We were snowbound.
