Written for: Poets United Midweek Motif~Year’s End
“This year’s end full of trouble and joy, suspense and uncertainty.
Let’s write to each other in this new poem about the end of 2019.” (posted by Susan)
If this year has brought
you joy, may your savor
it through the coming year.
If you found yourself fraught,
distraught with illness, disfavor,
may you sadness turn to cheer.
If you had a year of loss
and life has ceased to have flavor
may you, with time, begin to see things clearer.
One of the best ideas life ever had is Morning, A New Day and a Brand New Year……the days keep moving us forward, through days of loss and days of joy……….I hope the new year is good to you, Sara!

This poem is a soothing salve that invites the reader to breathe, grieve, and heal unhurriedly, in their own time. Lovely sentiment.
