“This week, I’d like you to stir things up. Go stir-crazy. Listen to the stirrings of your muse, or soul. Stir in a little angst, joy or laughter. Stir things up with some humor, or insight. Just be sure you mix, blend, agitate, whip or whisk in some literal form of the word stir.”
Stir gently,
never shake. My
spirits need
subtle blending.
Use gin or vodka
with splash of vermouth. Chilled
martini glass is vital,
as is garnish
of olive or twist
of lemon. Watch me
stir up some wild passion
after a few. Sip me slowly.

Ah….first drinks my husband made when we returned from our 2+ months in San Diego….his wonderful pomegrante martinis! No martini shaker in San Diego….and here we are with the earth completely turned on its axel in the midst of a pandemic. hmmmmm I may have him make them again tonight! 🙂
