Written for: The Twiglets #173 – “a little salty”
Her cloying sweetness
needed an infusion
of saltiness.
I love when my lips
are wet with the taste
of sea salt.
she eats beef stew
tender meat, spring vegetables
sadly lacking salt
There was an old Salt from New Hampshire
who missed his old life as a crabber.
Needing new pass time
tried out pantomime
but his old fish scent clung to his outerwear.
