I remember watching a cooking show where one of the ‘basket’ must use ingredients was maraschino cherries. One contestant only used the fluid… The judges thought that was a smart move 😉

Thanks, Jules! I haven’t had a maraschino cherry in ages. My Mom used to put them on top of her pineapple upside-down cake.

There are some traditions that should be adaptable…for something less …um… artificial. I knew someone who but those cherries in some home made hooch!
