Written for: Poetic Asides PAD November 2020 Challenge - Day 30 "For today's prompt, write an exit poem. Some exit gracefully; some make a scene. However you wish to exit, do so poetically now." Chimera spaceship plagues people of earth. News depicts it with suction cup feet. Sadly apt as it leaves a dearth of millions infected at record speed. Plaintive cries of families ripped apart, loved one's lives riddled with holes. We are sequestered and fearful with broken hearts wondering if this horror will leave us whole. To all dear people departed too soon, may you be at peace, your suffering ended. To those who are left in depths of blue may you find that sorrows can be mended. https://www.writersdigest.com/write-better-poetry/2020-november-pad-chapbook-challenge-day-30
