Written for: Go Dog Go Cafe - Tuesday Writing Prompt (posted by Devereaux and Beth) "Write a piece of prose or poetry that uses the words black eyes and cold winter rain." Stuck at nightfall in a cold winter rain, her cheeks dripping mascara looked like two black eyes. It was not so much where she was, as who she was. Another blackout, another lost day.
