Hey Sugar, if you are frantic
because you forgot to follow
the simple movements and words
necessary to forge new friendships,
dry your tears. Leave that fringe.
Singe those invisible strings. No
chains hold you back. Others
will be glad to call you friend.
I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York.
My goal is to create and share poetry with others
who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve
in you, and feel your sparks as well.

I really like this, feel it in my heart.
Aw, thanks Zelda.
You’re most welcome–and while I have your attention–how do you spell your name? I’ve seen both Sara and Sarah–and I’d like to get it right 🙂
