I travel the world
round.  Most countries
find me delightful.
Cuisine scene is 
stimulated whenever
I am at hand, 
in a variety of lovely
shades.

My versatility
places me in high
demand.  Able to
be enjoyed either
raw or cooked.

I am a staple
in most households,
and my name can be
pronounced in different
ways.

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy.     Tomato? At first, I thought wine, but the pronunciation and the raw or cooked got me.
