Written for: Sunday Whirl, Wordle #497 Words: wait, lift, above, below, defy, figure, table, blow, sigh, fly, sow, tip He was a defiant figure of a man. Lifted weights above his strength. He tabled his past inactivity. Both men and women far below his age, without patronizing him, encouraged a short wait between exercises–a tip to anyone starting late in life. He sighed, blew them off like annoying flies. He felt little time was left for him. He had to sow the seeds left dormant for too long. He was a defiant figure of a man, they said afterwards. https://sundaywhirl.wordpress.com/
