Suddenly, a old side table seemed too unstable.
I bought a thick raw wood table, that cozies
me up next to the corner of the couch. I cleaned more often,
but became bored quickly with that. One sheet
set had been uncomfortable for some time. I got
a new super-comfy purple set. Makes me want
to stay in bed all day. My sense of touch
became keen, and I only want to wear soft,
comfortable clothing.

However, I raring to go when it comes to movies,
restaurants, and being able to see friends.

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York. My goal is to create and share poetry with others who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve in you, and feel your sparks as well.

Amazing what comes to our attention when we’re cooped up all the time. Good one.
