Waterfalls

"What is it that exhilarates you?
What is it that you chase?"


Awed by waterfalls,
I discovered spectacular
ones while living
in Oregon.  That continual
cascade of water soaking
the rocks below.  Sight, 
and rushing, swooshing 
sounds combine like
a crescendo in music.
