Carvel should have their
2-for-1 sundaes on Sundays
not Wednesdays.


Shelves stocked with
school supplies brings
to mind how I hated
Sunday nights.

She wanted to marry on Sunday,
an afternoon wedding in the country.
She set a date
but she was late
when the date proved to be a Saturday.

    Sunday nights have been melancholy for me- the night before returning to work, especially if it was a job I didn’t like. Saturdays were the best. I enjoyed your poem.
