They cannot see me
as I walk amongst them,
yet I must remain
confined in complete
coverage to protect
myself, and my
planeteers from
human germs. Information
gathering is my mission.
Observation of these
strange creatures will
hopefully provide us
with enough insight
to determine if
earth is inhabitable.

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York.
My goal is to create and share poetry with others
who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve
in you, and feel your sparks as well.
I am afraid any aliens from outer space probably think we are all a bunch of blithering boobs. I am with Qbit, I may want to leave on the space ship. Always glad to see you at the Muse Sara!!
Let us hope that into the foreseeable, this remains pure fantasy! Nice writing, Sara.

Quick, give this rascal some false information (we are good with doing that).
My spaceman was taking sample specimens of the living organisms here.
