"You can write about the painting, or about dancing."
Fernando Botero ”Dancing in Colombia”
A night to remember
if she can. Partied,
all night with her
musician and arty
friends. Danced
non-stop. In early
hours, she lays
on a lounge, without
a change of clothes.
Black hair flows down
her shoulders, as
she snores softly
in tropical breeze.

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York.
My goal is to create and share poetry with others
who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve
in you, and feel your sparks as well.
Very nice capture. I like what you picked out.
I’ve been in a few tropical breezes. Maybe I snored too, hard not to nap in that kind of nature. 😉
