"Write a ready and/or not ready poem."


Not Ready

Groceries
in my shopping cart–
too late now.
Forgot bags
once again.  Will have to buy,
add to collection

Ready

Inhale air.
Try to catch a leaf
as it falls.
autumn's here.
Light jacket is all you need,
crisp as an apple.
