Chili

Written for:  Miz Quickly - Day 2

"Autumn decorations use a lot of corn. The rabbit actually made a cornshuck doll once. She tried several, but one came close enough to matching the illustration that she allows that she can feel honest.

Here are some Tuesday suggestions.

Consider corn [maize]

“Shucks!” as a polite form of swearing. Or write about any euphemism.

Trying and failing

Honesty



For years she cooked
chili, every few weeks.
Thought it was a dinner
winner.

For years he ate
with hate, that chili.
One day she mentioned
dinner, possibly chili?
That's when he finally
admitted how much
he disliked it.
