Written for: The Sunday Whirl, Wordle Extra Words: control, lift, shooter, face, school, date, attack see, screen suck, second, worry For a second I was able to see the shooter's face–a vacant screen, a blank slate. His movements were jerky, out of control, holding his weapon lifted high in the air until attack began. Students ran. He chose a date that no one could mistake, that of September 11th. My role of teacher has changed in these strange, worrying times. Pandemics, shootings, stabbings, and irresponsible parents. It all sucks. https://sundaywhirl.wordpress.com/
