Written for: Friday Writings 11: Feast or Famine (posted by Rommy) "For those of you who would like a prompt to work with, may I suggest writing about what comes to mind after reading the phrase “feast or famine”." What happens when a beast can no longer feast? Their homes are destroyed, downed trees leave a void. Some starve and grow thin raiding garbage bins. Animals and nature are being neglected. Doesn't matter to them, who is elected. https://poetsandstorytellersunited.blogspot.com/

Too many times, animals–especially if they don’t belong to an endangered species–are the last to be protected. It’s a terrible thing, particularly in our cities. Makes me thinks of the pigeons on the train tracks, so many people hate them… but where are they supposed to go?
