Written for: April 2022 PAD Challenge - Day 10 "Write a taste poem." An ethereal flavor, chocolate mousse, melts on your tongue like silk. Careful, it's rich. Cannot be mistaken for chocolate moose. If it is tart for which you have an itch, lemon meringue pie with sweetness and tang will exquisitely satisfy that niche. What are those spices in autumn that hang heavy in air, a perfume to the nose? Cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin pie-you rang? Fortunately my tastebuds are diverse from Italian to Indian to Thai– crunchy, smooth, spicy like intriguing verse. How appealing to taste food never tried. How dismayed I'd be served chicken that's dry. https://www.writersdigest.com/write-better-poetry/2022-april-pad-challenge-day-10
