Cold Steel

"Write a power poem."


Cold steel,
penetrating blue eyes.
Leviathan with heel
on the disenfranchised–
indifferent to appeal.

A tyrant
we have witnessed before
in World War II's violence–
people killed by the score.
Must halt this assailant.
