Written for: dVerse Poets Pub - Quadrille #158 "Morning Has Broken" (posted by Linda Lee Lyberg) Two gray doves coo on deck railing. White-tailed pigeon struts across roof of garage. A woofing dog reminds his humans that it is time for his walk. On the block, doors open and close. Cars beep remotely. I open my eyes to morning. https://dversepoets.com/2022/08/22/quadrille-158-morning-has-broken/
