“lizard eyes”

Written for: The Twiglets #307 - lizard eyes

Wearing a polyester emerald green suit,
and pointy shoes, the lounge lizard's
eyes narrow, as he catches sight
of a woman smiling from the audience.

After an accident,
the lizard had to be
fit for new glasses.

           An unfortunate elderly Wizard
had face and eyes of a lizard.
               He wore a sombrero
to shade face and not scare
off advice seekers. Hat blows off in blizzard.
