Frank’s Garden

Written for: Friday Writings #70: Discovery

”Have you discovered anything new lately?”

Frank’s garden is a constantly changing
fairy tale of flowers, and whimsical
statues. The first third is filled
with delightful daffodils
dancing in a breeze. Difficult
to see how far back the garden
extends. Eye the stooping
deer, swinging children,
casting fisherman, and wooden
bridge. Pass by each day
to hunt for new treasures.
you will never be disappointed.

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are now back in New York. My goal is to create and share poetry with others who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve in you, and feel your sparks as well.

I read that someone along a neighborhood path… created a fairy garden for those lucky enough to venture by. It to changed with some regularity.
Fun when that happens… everyday a different treasure – that’s natural for some nature gardeners 😀
