Zoom, Zoom, Wail

”Write a sound poem.”


Wailing sirens zip through street
Sounding like bleating sheep.
Bong, scrape, bong, scrape
Blaring sanitation trucks greet.
Zoom, zoom-muscle car suite,
Always after dark. Evening complete.
