Written for: Poetic Asides 2023 April PAD Challenge - Day 13 write a Forgive poem. First, I ask myself what I need to forgive myself for. Deep In meditative thought, ,I attempt to separate the tangles of my past actions and reactions. On some occasions I could have held my tongue. On others, I, as victim of envenomed remarks, stood silent instead of the brilliant riposte I later formed in my head. Now, as age awareness besets me each day, I forgive all those who have hurt me, and forgive myself for those I have hurt. There is simply no time to waste. https://www.writersdigest.com/write-better-poetry/2023-april-pad-challenge-day-13
